Massanutten Military Academy

Oct. 2011 - Present

As a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Cornerstone has a fondness for the military and military academies. Cornerstone began work at MMA with installation and maintenance of fire systems in the multi-building facility. The facility consists of both classroom and dorm space as well as eating facilities and athletic spaces. Since 2011 Cornerstone has provided additional fire alarm and security systems, CCTV, paging and audio equipment, and wiring support. In 2016 Cornerstone became the full technology and infrastructure support provider for all networks, WIFI, server and user management, as well as supporting all previously provided services.


Harrisonburg Electric Commission

May 2016

As is with any major utilities company, our client needed a telephone system with expandable capabilities, that could handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing communications. The solution was an ESI IP 900 server-based system with multiple functionality packages, for approximately 50 employee desktop telephones. Cornerstone's telecom engineers implemented the following integrated features within the telephone system: T1 & PRI interface, Combo Services for IP & Digital Extensions, Caller ID, Call Recording, Automatic Call Distribution, Advance Voicemail Services. Cornerstone provides on-going maintenance for this system.


Town of Timberville

July 2016

The Cornerstone telecom team met with representatives of The Town of Timberville, to discuss their telephone system requirements and expectations, and then offer a viable solution. We proposed and installed, a new ESI IP Server 900 Business Communication System, enriched with many end-user features and capabilities.


Trinity Turf

Aug. 2016

The client solution was to install two separate ESI IP telephone systems, in two different office locations, and network the two offices together. Cornerstone performed the installation in both offices, Weyers Cave VA and Richmond VA, and successfully integrated the two IP based systems. This integration not only consolidates the client's communication systems, it can offer other benefits as well, here are just a few: lowering bills by cutting down on long-distance charges, simplified monthly telephone service invoices, easier technology upgrades in the future, increased scalability and functionality.


National Science Foundation

Sept. 2016 - May 2017 (Phased Timeline)

Working as a subcontractor for American Systems, Cornerstone performed fiber backbone and copper riser cabling installation for two newly constructed National Science Foundation buildings. This project included fiber fusion splicing of over 4,000 fiber strands, and over 1,200 copper pair terminations. All fiber strands and copper pairs were industry tested and certified.


Hidden Springs Senior Living

Feb. 2017 - Present (Phased Timeline)

A new construction expansion multi-level project, for this assisted living facility for senior citizens, involved a combination of Cornerstones low-voltage infrastructure capabilities. This perform required our complete implementation of the following: installing voice/data copper cabling, wireless access point installation services, IT Network Services, Fire Alarm System installation, Security Camera System installation, Telephone System upgrades, and Access Control.


Andros Foods North America

Feb. 2017 - Feb. 2018 (Phased Timeline)

Food manufacturing facilities can require special scheduling and a unique work environment. This project consisted of installing fire alarm notification and detection in a pre-existing facility. Tasking had to be scheduled around daytime and nighttime operations for Plants 1 through 4. The facility consisted of both manufacturing and warehouse space.


Doubletree Harrisonburg

Feb. 2017 - Oct. 2017 (Phased Timeline)

Hotel renovations can be tricky. Most renovations require the old system and part of the building to remain open and in service, while the other part is renovated. This project was no different in that regard. The facility consists of 140 sleeping rooms, 6000 sq./ft. of meeting space, swimming pool and fitness center. This was a major renovation construction project. Cornerstone provided s full fire system for the facility to include smoke, heat, CO, sprinkler system tamper and flows, HVAC shutdown, and pump house monitoring and notification.


Valley Health

March 2017 - Present

Cornerstone has performed structured cabling and wireless access point installations for Valley Health at multiple sites across multiple states, to include VA/WV/MD. We have installed both copper, fiber, and wireless access points, in Doctors Offices, Clinics, and Hospitals. We work closely with the Valley Health Information Systems division, to curtail each project to the exact needs of the end-user.


Ressie Jeffries Elementary School

This project consisted of the replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new system designed to code for a remodel of the school. As with most schools the work needed to be performed during the summer months. The project also required some follow-up with the HVAC contractor after the beginning of school, as adjustments were made.


Harrisonburg Mennonite Church

June 2017 - Nov. 2017 (Phased Timeline)

Working as a subcontractor for Trumbo Electric, Cornerstone performed the installation of a new ESI telephone system for this construction renovation project. Our telecom division understands that user-friendly features best support the demands of todays clergy operations, and this system was designed and programmed to accommodate.


Miles & Stockbridge P.C.

June 2017 - Present

Cornerstone provides structured cabling for offices located in Frederick, MD and Washington, DC. From new construction and renovation copper and fiber installation, to adds/moves/changes services for frequent office moves, our team completely supports this law firms cabling connectivity needs.


Mountain View Nursing Home

Oct. 2017

Cornerstone installed a digital ESI-200 phone system, accompanied with voicemail functionality. This required that we duplicate the clients existing system, and utilize their existing telephones, while offering an expanded user-friendly feature selection. We continue to serve this client as they request additional upgrades, system maintenance, and add/move/change requests.


Goose Creek Montessori School

Nov. 2017 - Present (Phased Timeline)

This project requires multiple scopes of work, as todays educational facilities require various facets of technology. Cornerstone has put together a design build for this new construction school site, that encompasses a fire alarm protection system, tel-data and wireless connectivity throughout, security cameras, and access control devices.
